I greet you with ZEAL! Zeal ~ the zippy, zesty God-life energy that says YES! Oh, the ZEALous power of smiles & synergies, love & laughter, courage & conviction! ZEAL is one of Unity's 12 Powers; you'll find it featured on their website this month. Here at New Thought Families, we are also exploring & celebrating ZEAL in our October offerings ... Zippy ZEAL!
Here we are in our 5th October newsletter! We couldn't help use this picture from last October as it just gleams with ZEAL appeal! For any of you who have been reading with us all these years, you know the newsletter & website have come a long way and we continue our faith walk with God answering the call month by month. This October we embrace ZEAL! We affirm with faith filled zip:

We have some new variations of the newsletter & website that we will debut in their imperfect metamorphis later this month ... we will offer them to our subscribers and through a link on the homepage ~ stay fine tuned & ZEALously join us!
Currently onsite, we have an invitation to ZEAL on our homepage and a daily practice with our multi-media Play & Pray Feel The Zeal calendar. We continue to offer our JoyBoy cartoon, as well as a new music video, Zeal Appeal both found on the homepage as well as on the ZEAL page . We have brought back our Green Living segment, In Our Hands as well as a segment for our conscious living action of the month. Visit our In Our Hands page!

Prayer Practice
Ah, the power of 10! 10 fingers, 10 toes, top 10 lists, the 10 Commandments~! The original 10 Commandments and most of the lists that have come after are a list of Nos and don'ts. Last month we offered the Native American 10 Commandments; a powerfully positive way to live life! In the Spirit of 10/10/10 and the ZEAL appeal of YES, here's our prayer:
Dear Mother/Father/God,
Thank you for this gift of Life!
May I say YES to Life this day with Awareness ~ eyes & heart to see You Love ~ to give & receive You
Gratitude ~ grateful THANK YOUs!
Light ~ flowing Your shine through me
Forgiveness ~ to help me heal any hurts that block Your flow of Love
Service ~ helpful hands & words to reach out to others in Your Love
Stillness ~ a listening heart to hear You Imagination ~ to create with You
Joy ~ to dance with You
ZEAL ~ to feel & be the essence of You With all these gifts,
may I say YES to Life this day!

 Family Faith: Sacred Space
Our home consciouness practice this month is to feel the zeal and keep it real! Each day, Jeremiah & I note what each of us felt zeal for & what zeal we saw in others. We use stickers on a make shift calendar and it really helps anchor the concept of zeal. Check out our short video on the rewly revised In Our Hands webpage! Also there is our revised Green Living segment, In Our Hands as we take a stand to not use styrofoam!

Interfaith Inspirations
Global Oneness Day (G.O.D.) falls on Sunday, October 24th, 2010. For a quick preview of this message about G.O.D. hear from AGNT President, Michael Bernard Beckwith, and from Humanity's Team & G.O.D.
