Namaste Beloveds,
Greetings of goodness, Godness, graciousness & grace as we embrace this new year! And while it's just a calendar, new beginnings beckon! We are focused on Co-Creating Heaven in 2011 & our first month soaks up the Beauty that is right here, right now. Amidst very cold wintery temperatures, the hills outside our windows are greening beautifully. And after a very busy December, we are enJOYing a quiet, stay warm & snuggled January ~ now, that's beautiful! Here are some brief updates on our New Thought Families offerings and in the Reverent Resources section, we speak to our Epiphany Visions & 2011 Heaven Plans. Our New Year wishes for you & all of us include happy hibernation, renewed rejuvenation & bountiful beautification! Heaven ho! |
Beauty Beckons!
As we begin this new year affirming that we can, do, and are Co-creating Heaven in 2011, our eyes, hearts & minds fill with beauty. Beauty surrounds me. Beauty flows through me! As co-creators, our work/play is to be aware & allow ~ always! Heaven in 2011or any other time, is available to us if we are awake & allow the flow. We live on a beautiful planet filled with slices of heaven ~ truly beauty beckons! So we invite you to experience the beauty all around you including the multi-media daily practice we offer here with our Play & Pray See Beauty calendar. EnJOY!

 Family Faith: Sacred Space
Our home consciouness practice this month is to see beauty with the eyes of our hearts! In our aforementioned web calendar, we narrate the pages and these pray & play heart thoughts really help us adjust our beauty vision! Each day at home, Jeremiah & I note something of beauty we have seen or experienced. We use stickers, drawings, words on our central calendar and it really helps us practice using our eyes of beauty. Our short video on this Heart Vision Seeing Beauty Practice is on the In Our Hands webpage. Also there is this month's Green Living segment of In Our Hands with our clean, green water canteens! We have given up the plastic water bottles ~ finally! And we are truly loving the clean canteens!

Interfaith Inspirations
January 1st brought us the new 2011 New Year of course as well as the culmination of the cultual candle lighting of Kwaanza. January still swirls with Christmas & New Year energies; the Christian Christmas season completes 1/5 on Twelfth Night. 1/6 marks the arrival of the Magi known as Epiphany whereby many Christians celebrate the divine nature of Jesus. Some celebrate Feast of the Theophany which is the Orthodox Christian remembrance of the Holy Spirit in baptism of Jesus. Still other places host Dia de los Reyes which is the Three Kings Day celebration. Ah, holy days!
The Baha'i celebrate world unity on 1/16 as World Religion's Day and for the Buddhists 1/19-21 is the Mahayana New Year. 1/20 is the Jewish celebration anticipating springtime, Tu B'shvat. And on January 30, we begin the interfaith celebration of Season for Peace & NonViolence ~ hosted by AGNT!

Here at New Thought Families, we continue to keep the faith in calendarizing time for inspirational, interfaith, intergenerational gatherings. In addition to our online offerings, we offer Spirit Rising Concerts & music for services & occasions as well as our PlayShops & Family Retreats where children see what's in their parent's hearts & parents see what's in their children's hearts. These intergenerational, interfaith gatherings bring out the highest Love in ALL~ SO beautiful ~ every time! We have many materials that help invite hearts to play & pray including our big screen visuals with fun pictures, song lyrics & more, hands on craft materials that bring out the creative in everyone, games & activities that feature YOU! Can your family and/or ministry benefit from more circle of Love play & pray time? Do you want to Play & Pray with US?! We will come to YOU! Reverent Resources!
Besides the resource of us, we want to recommend you take a look at the revised website for the Association of Global New Thought; AGNT. We will be aligning with all of their Seasons this year and will surely have more to say about them as our year unfolds!
As we roll towards our 4 year launch anniversary as a .com, New Thought Families recommits to our mission of providing multi-media ways to play & pray. We continue to offer our daily Pray & Play Calendars, Videos, Music, Joy Boy Cartoons, ABC Spiritual Literacy pages, monthly themes & In Our Hands Living Green & Home Spirituality Practices. We will spare you the long list of our visions & projects but do keep your eye on the NTF Vision page where we are trying to articulate a very clear vision that has come as our New Year Epiphany. The current challenge is that visions come in a timeless flash; this one brilliantly, crystal clear & shining. The out-picturing of such a vision takes time & must be "perfect enough" for an earthly heaven. Soooo, stay fine tuned.(Big breath!)
We look to the ships coming in this 2011 Heaven ... fellowship, friendship, kinship, partnership, sponsorship... being in grateful right relationship with all the heaven that is. May your ships come in too and may we welcome them in the heavenly harbors of our hearts. Namaste, Love, Namaste!
